In what was surely one of the highlights of NY Fashion Week, Marc Jacob's did not disappoint with his Spring 07 presentation. Set to the strains of Pashelbel (was this his dry humour?), models strutted out in a silhouette reminiscent of Poiret and the early 1900's. Uneven ruffles in the palest silks, baggy pleated harem pants (yes people harem pants), long bomber silhouettes, easy over-sized tees and dropped waistlines looked refreshing after seeing many versions of Chloe's Fall show redone in spring colours. And after the huge success of recent collections I dare say by the time Feb roles around... we may all be part of Marc's Harem.
