Perfume Review: Jasmin 17 by Le Labo

Jasmine is a smell that I’ve loved since childhood. There was a jasmine plant that somehow managed to grow from the outside our house, through a bit of crumbly plaster and into my bedroom. That sounds odd, even to me. But hey, it was the 1970s, things were different. And when you’re four years old – you don’t think to ask.
Does Jasmin 17 smell like the real thing?
Although Jasmine is a delicate white flower, the smell is relatively strong and sweet. Jasmin 17 captures some elements of the jasmine flower but, it’s a bit 2D, almost like it’s missing the third dimension. Jasmin 17 does remind me of jasmine tea, so it’s got some of the aroma of the flower, but not quite all of it.
Is Jasmin 17 the scent for jasmine lovers?
If you’re a jasmine perfectionist, don’t bother with this. It’s worth finding a better jasmine fragrance to really invest in. Here are some that may be worth trying:
