A new planet has been discovered that is said to be made of diamonds and which orbits around a pulsing star PSR J1719-1438. The planet is part of a system that is said to be located 4,000 light-years away from Earth in the constellation of Serpens. The diamond planet is believed to be about 5 times the size of Earth and bigger than the sun. Scientists believe that the planet was actually formed from a star. So the biggest diamond ever is a planet. A planet that is 5 times bigger than the Earth and larger than the Sun.  This is the second time that such a planet is being discovered. The first one was in 1992.
