Jaguar has released the first sketch of the C-X16 concept,its one of a host of models expected to be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which opens September 15 in Frankfurt, Germany. It has been designed by the same team that produced the Jaguar XJ, XF and XK, which is headed by the brand's design chief Ian Callum, and is expected to be smaller than previous models in an attempt to compete with rivals such as Porsche. The compact luxury model is expected to feature V6 petrol engines and a six-speed gearbox and could launch in 2013, with additional versions such as a coupe launching a few years later.
